Samsung has officially confirmed that it will hold its next Galaxy Unpacked event on July 10, 2024 in Paris. This is a strategic date, just two weeks before the start of the Olympic Games, of which Samsung is a partner. It promises a presentation packed with new products.
New smartphones 📱
The event, which kicks off at 3pm CET, will be broadcast live on YouTube, Samsung.com and Samsung Newsroom. Fans of the Korean brand can look forward to a flurry of innovative products.
At the heart of this presentation will be the much-anticipated foldable smartphones: the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Galaxy Z Flip 6. The Fold 6 is expected to retain a flat-edge design, similar to the Galaxy S24 series. It should also potentially offer new screen ratios. As for the Flip 6, Samsung’s « darling », it could be slightly thicker, raising hopes of a larger battery.
New accessories ⌚
On the accessories front, Samsung is expected to launch its new Galaxy Watch 7 in 40 and 44 mm sizes, with a more efficient chip and sapphire crystal screen. More surprisingly, a new range could see the light of day with the Galaxy Watch Ultra, promising robustness and increased autonomy.
To complete this already impressive offering, Samsung is also set to present its new Galaxy Buds 3 and Buds 3 Pro earphones. The latter are said to adopt a new design, but we won’t tell you more for the moment 🤫
The mysterious Galaxy Ring 💍
Galaxy Ring, a smart ring, will also be unveiled. Teased since the beginning of the year, it represents a significant foray by Samsung into the smart jewelry market. Focused primarily on health, it should improve users’ health monitoring.
This Galaxy Unpacked 2024 promises to be one of the most important in recent years for Samsung, with no fewer than seven new products expected. It will undoubtedly mark a turning point in the brand’s strategy, particularly in the connected objects market.
