Have you ever wondered which companies were the best in terms of remuneration in Cameroon ? « JobSika » has the answer to your questions.

JobSika, a collaborative platform

JobSika is a web platform that allows you to consult salaries and see the companies’ ratings. On the homepage you will find a list of all published salaries. You can filter them by seniority, title, company and even city.

The platform relies above all on contribution. Indeed, the scores that will be displayed on the platform do not come from surveys or other similar data collection processes. It is up to the users to put their salaries and to rate their companies, their contribution remaining totally anonymous. Moreover, mentioning the company is not at all compulsory, and the latter will only be displayed if at least three other people with the same title work in the same city and have contributed.

The platform is collaborative, even in its design. It is indeed an Open Source project, initiated by the OSS Cameroon community (Open Source Society Cameroon). To put it simply, the source code of the web platform, i.e. the very heart of the platform, is public and everyone can make improvements and contribute ideas.

How to contribute to JobSika

To contribute to the platform and allow as many people as possible to be aware of the realities of the market, it is very simple.

1. Go to https://jobsika.cm/ and press the « Contribute » button.

2.  Fill out the form, which will make suggestions for the company name, title and city. Here you go 😉

For the moment, the platform is only in English but a French version could be integrated if the demand is strong.
