Presented in June last year, Apple’s first mixed reality headset, the Vision Pro, now has a release date, although not all countries are concerned.

Apple’s spatial computer will be available in the U.S. from February ✨

Apple has issued a press release announcing the future availability of its new product, the Apple Vision Pro. It will go on sale on February 2, with pre-orders opening on January 19. Unfortunately, only the United States is concerned for the time being, and no date has been communicated for a possible launch in other countries.

For $3499, the first buyers will be able to acquire Apple’s very first spatial computer. Orders can be placed via the online store or purchased at physical Apple Stores. For users wearing glasses, it can be accompanied by Zeiss optical inserts available from $99. The manufacturer includes a support headband to place over the head, an anti-light cover, two pads for the cover, a screen protector, a wipe, an external battery offering 2 hours of autonomy, a USB-C cable and an AC adapter.

Productivity, entertainment and video games 🥽

Although this is a completely new product category, Apple has made provisions in terms of content. More than a million apps will be available, optimized for visionOS, the headset’s operating system, as well as iOS and iPadOS apps. But that’s not all. More than 150 3D movies will be available via the Apple TV app. The headset comes with 256 GB of storage capacity, so that should do the job.
