This option allows users to save a transfer and extend its expiration date by up to 30 days. This initiative provides greater flexibility for those who, due to time constraints or distractions, are unable to download their files within the usual seven-day period.

Activating this feature is simple. Once a transfer is received, just open the WeTransfer mobile app and select the « Save for Later » option. Then, you can set the new expiration date. Saved transfers are grouped in a dedicated section of the app, making it easy to find them when needed.

SwissTransfer: A Strong Alternative to WeTransfer 🔗

In light of this new offering, it’s also worth mentioning SwissTransfer, another file transfer service growing in popularity. Provided by the Swiss company Infomaniak, SwissTransfer allows users to send up to 50 GB of files for free without needing to create an account.
