Economic operators, both national and international, can now complete all their procedures online through a dedicated platform, from document requests to managing the tracking and collection of goods.

Services available 24/7 🕰️

The port of Lomé, one of the largest port hubs in West Africa, is taking a new step in its modernization through the adoption of a complete dematerialization of international trade document issuance. According to a press release (link) signed on September 25 and published by the Togolese port administration, this platform will allow users to carry out all procedures online, including the collection and tracking of goods.

This innovation aims to accelerate processes and enhance the transparency of operations, in order to contribute to improving the performance and competitiveness of the port of Lomé.

Gradual digitalization ⌛️

It’s worth noting that in April 2024, the establishment had set up its call center to allow its customers to contact the administration and report any difficulties encountered in the various procedures within the logistics area.

Since 2020, the infrastructure has implemented several reforms as part of its digitalization strategy. These aim to improve statistics in terms of handling and transshipment. They have enabled the Togolese port infrastructure to rank among the top 100 ports in the world over the past four years.
