
Camtel trains 75 new engineers to provide better service quality 📡

Camtel has integrated 75 specialized engineers to modernize its network and improve the quality of service offered to its subscribers across Cameroon. These new experts, specializing in IT integration, software development, and satellite solutions, strengthen the company’s expertise. After an intensive four-month training program at the National Center for Emergency Telecommunications Network in Ekounou, these young engineers are joining the 180 technicians already in place across the country, contributing to the optimization of telecommunications infrastructure.
A commitment to innovation and performance 🚀
Judith Yah Sunday Achidi, Camtel’s General Manager, highlighted the importance of this initiative. According to her:
« Camtel’s mission is to digitize Cameroon’s economy. To achieve this, we need qualified human resources. We are confident that we have recruited the best talents to take on this challenge. »
She also emphasized their role in the company’s digital transformation. « Their expertise will allow us to improve the reliability of our network and offer a better experience to our customers,« she stated.

Frequent outages and inconsistent network quality are major concerns for subscribers. With this new wave of recruitment, Camtel aims to reduce these issues. The company also seeks to expand its digital services, particularly in rural areas.
Additionally, the newly integrated engineers will work on innovative solutions. These include optimizing existing networks, implementing new infrastructures, and enhancing high-speed Internet services.
