Google Lens gets better on iPhone with « Circle to Search »✨

Android users have already embraced it, and now it’s time for iPhone users to enjoy one of Google’s most convenient features: visual search in a single gesture. Google Lens is now integrated into Chrome and the Google app on iOS, allowing you to instantly identify anything on your screen without taking a screenshot or opening a new tab.

Find everything in a blink of an eye 👁️

Whether you’re reading an article, watching a video, or spotting a product online, simply use the three-dot menu in Chrome or the Google app to activate « Search screen » with Lens. Soon, a Lens button will appear directly in Chrome’s address bar for even faster access.

Google Lens is no longer limited to basic object identification. With AI Overviews integration, the tool can now provide more detailed explanations about new or unique elements. See something intriguing in an image? A single tap on the camera icon in the Google search bar will provide an in-depth contextual analysis, along with useful links.

A shift toward more intuitive search 🔄

This update is rolling out this week on iOS via Chrome and the Google app, with an expansion planned for Chrome on desktop and mobile very soon.

With this improvement, Google Lens makes visual search smoother and more accessible. No more copying and pasting or juggling multiple apps—the info is right at your fingertips. And if AI keeps evolving at this pace, who knows what the next step in visual search will bring?
