This week, you’re sure to see many announcements about new technology products and services, most of them unveiled at CES. You may be wondering what CES is all about. We explain it all in this week’s Ask Griots.

A show dedicated to technological innovation ✨

CES (Consumer Electronics Show) is the world’s leading trade fair for technological innovation in consumer electronics. Organized by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), CES is usually held in Las Vegas, USA, and attracts companies from all over the world to showcase their latest technological products and services.

The start of the tech year 🚀

At CES, many companies, large and small, unveil new gadgets, electronics, software and other technological innovations. Since it usually takes place in January, it kicks off the year in terms of technology.

While the stars of CES are often televisions, there are also announcements of computers, connected gadgets, autonomous vehicles, virtual reality devices, drones, smart home appliances and more.
